SIDSA丨Enlit Africa 2025: Exploring Sustainable Energy Development in Africa

Release Time:

May 22,2025

SIDSA participated in Enlit Africa 2025 held at the Cape Town International Convention Center (CTICC) in South Africa from May 20 to 22, 2025. During this period, SIDSA brought a full-scenario solid waste resource solution to the exhibition, decoded Africa's solid waste dilemma with European cutting-edge technology, and engaged in cross-border thought collisions and exchanges with decision makers and technical experts in the fields of energy, manufacturing, and environmental protection. Enlit Africa 2025 is a highly influential event in the energy, power, and water industries in Africa, and is the highlight of the African energy industry. It brings together companies and experts from different industries around the world to discuss the path to sustainable development of African energy. This conference is not only an industry gathering, but also an event that inspires change and cooperation. SIDSA is honored to be one of the exhibitors and work with all parties to promote the green transformation of Africa's energy sector.

The African continent has untapped resource potential worth about $300 billion, but there are still 130 million tons of hazardous waste per year piled up in the open air due to insufficient processing capacity. Energy shortage and solid waste pollution are intertwined into a double dilemma - the black smoke from diesel power generation has not yet dissipated, and the toxic fog from the burning of industrial waste is permeating the sky. In this green revolution, "resource mismatch" is strangling Africa's sustainable development. Those metal waste barrels abandoned on the grassland and the black smoke rolling in the factory chimneys could have made a cleaner African story.

In recent years, the African Union has successively issued planning documents such as the "African Green Energy Initiative", "African Energy Partnership Plan", "African Energy Agreement", and "African Energy Strategy 2030", and established the African Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund to encourage countries in the region to use renewable resources such as solar energy, wind energy and hydropower to generate electricity to meet Africa's growing energy and development needs.

As a global pioneer in the field of solid waste resource utilization for 50 years, SIDSA is well aware that true environmental protection is to turn hazardous waste from a "terminator" into an "enabler".

1. Committed to responding to global environmental challenges

As a solution provider focusing on waste treatment and resource utilization, SIDSA has always been committed to responding to the increasingly severe global environmental problems through innovative technologies, especially in the following key areas where it has accumulated rich experience:

·Resource production of alternative fuels from solid waste, improve production capacity and energy utilization, and help industrial energy conservation and emission reduction.

·Combining hazardous waste pretreatment technology with local needs, helping hazardous waste disposal companies achieve safe, efficient, green and sustainable development goals.

·Biomass pretreatment and energy utilization significantly reduce production line operating costs and promote green energy conversion.

At present, we have established production R&D bases and sales companies in Switzerland, China, Germany, India and other major markets, and have representative offices in Indonesia, Thailand, Poland, Australia, etc. We hope to work with more customers to promote global sustainable development.

2. Core technology and equipment highlights

In this exhibition, SIDSA will focus on displaying its complete solid waste treatment equipment and system solutions, including SMP system, disc screen, air separator, etc. We are committed to providing customers with highly customized solutions, whether in solid waste pretreatment, fuel substitution, or biomass utilization, to meet the specific needs of different projects.

SMP system

In the hazardous waste treatment industry, Suide is a leading company in the design, production and planning of a full set of SMP systems. Customized designs can be provided according to different material forms.

Disc Screen

Specially used for material separation equipment in solid waste treatment, recycling and comprehensive disposal production lines, with excellent screening effect.

Air separator

It is mainly used to separate garbage mixture into heavy components and light components. The inlet and outlet structures can be customized according to site needs to meet the diverse needs of project layout, sealing dust removal, fire protection, etc.
