SIDSA Shines at CemFuels Asia | Solving Alternative Fuel Challenges with Tailored Mature Solutions

The inaugural CemFuels Asia was grandly launched in Bangkok, Thailand, attracting over 200 industry experts from 25 countries worldwide. As a critical milestone for the Asian cement industry’s journey toward “carbon neutrality,” we were invited to participate and engaged with industry peers to discuss how advanced pre‑treatment technology can address the supply‑chain bottlenecks of alternative fuels and unlock the energy potential of waste.

During the sharing session, we delivered a keynote speech titled “Case Studies of SID Waste Treatment Equipment in Maximizing Alternative Fuel Utilization in Southeast Asian and Chinese Cement Industries.” As early as 1998, we commissioned the world’s first SMP system in Germany and subsequently expanded this technical solution worldwide, pioneering the co‑processing of hazardous and solid waste in cement kilns. Drawing from practical data accumulated across more than 100 successful projects in China, we exchanged candid technical insights on dealing with complex operating conditions. Given the highly variable composition of waste streams in Asia, we discussed how site‑specific process adjustments can ensure high system reliability. We believe that this mature, proven technology—validated through decades and numerous large‑scale projects—can offer practical reference points for our Asian colleagues and help clients maximize the benefits of alternative fuels.
