SIDSA Participates in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos
Release Time:

The World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos is regarded as one of the most influential global conferences. Each year, it brings together governments, international organizations, and key industry leaders to discuss critical issues such as energy, environment, and sustainable development. This year’s meeting was held in Davos, Switzerland.

During the 2026 World Economic Forum, we were honored to be invited to participate in related exchanges. Waste‑to‑Energy emerged as a key focus among experts from various countries—a topic that closely aligns with the practical environmental projects SIDSA is advancing across different nations.
From National‑Level Projects to County‑Level Circular Models
Alternative Fuel in Thailand: A Pre‑Treatment Partner Who Knows the Local Context
In Thailand, SIDSA has become a core partner in the alternative fuel industry, thanks to our deep understanding of local waste characteristics. Instead of simply replicating European disposal methods, we tailored shredder selection and screening logic to Thailand’s specific industrial and municipal waste mix.
SIDSA has now successfully commissioned several high‑standard production lines in Thailand, designed to operate reliably in high‑temperature and high‑humidity environments, helping clients achieve stable conversion of waste into high‑calorific‑value fuel.
MSW Project in India: Validating Large‑Scale Municipal Solid Waste Processing
Facing the highly challenging mixed municipal solid waste in South Asia (often containing hard impurities), our equipment has proven its resilience in India.

Our shredders, known for their reliability and stable processing capacity, have addressed “bottleneck” challenges in large‑scale operations, ensuring smooth downstream processes.

Shaoguan, Guangdong: A County‑Level Model for Circular MSW Treatment
Waste resource recovery is not only about centralized treatment in big cities—localized “on‑site resource recovery” at the county level is equally important. In Shaoguan, Guangdong, SIDSA supported the creation of a closed‑loop demonstration project.
The project processes 100,000 tons of municipal solid waste annually, producing 50,000 tons of organic fertilizer, saving approximately 12,000 tons of standard coal, and reducing CO₂ emissions by over 35,000 tons per year—equivalent to planting about 1.9 million trees each year.
Plastic Recycling: High‑Precision Fine Shredding Enables Plastic Resource Recovery

In the field of plastic recycling, market requirements for the quality of recycled materials are becoming increasingly stringent. Leveraging our independently developed fine shredders, SIDSA achieves precise processing of various types of waste plastics.
Whether dealing with rigid plastics or films, we deliver uniformly sized shreds with low dust content, laying a solid foundation for high‑quality downstream pelletizing.
Biomass Processing: Addressing Efficiency and High‑Standard Challenges
For domestic biomass resource recovery projects, materials such as straw and forestry waste often present challenges like high fiber content, strong toughness, and difficult feeding. We provide targeted solutions.

The RHS hammer shredder not only offers extremely low maintenance and operating costs but also ensures efficient and stable pre‑treatment of biomass feedstock, supporting steady output of green energy.
A Long‑Term Solution Provider in the Global Circular Economy
From the macro‑level perspective of Davos to the concrete data from Shaoguan; from multiple production lines in Thailand to massive throughput in India—we remain committed to providing our clients with asset‑grade equipment that stands the test of time.
