IFAT Munich 2026 | SIDSA Engages with the Global Environmental Industry on Advancing Resource Circularity

Release Time:

May 08,2026

[MUNICH, May 2026] – IFAT Munich, the world's leading trade fair for environmental and resource circulation technologies, is currently taking place at the Munich Trade Fair Center. SIDSA (SIDSA) is showcasing its core "SIDSA Smart Solution," demonstrating how it is elevating solid waste pre-treatment to a new level of being "sensible and adjustable."

Spotlight on Smart Solutions

The highlight of this exhibition is the transformation of solid waste pre-treatment from traditional mechanical operations to a data-driven and AI-controlled system. By continuously collecting and analyzing equipment load and material characteristics, the system achieves adaptive control. This ensures stable output even with challenging materials, significantly improving production efficiency and stability while substantially reducing manual intervention and operational costs.

Deep Technical Heritage & Global Footprint

Starting in 1972 with the shredding of scrap tires in Switzerland, SIDSA has spent over five decades deepening its expertise in the solid waste pre-treatment sector. The company has accumulated extensive engineering experience in Alternative Fuel (RDF/SRF) preparation, resource recycling, and hazardous waste treatment, establishing local teams in Germany, China, and India. To date, SIDSA has successfully commissioned over 1,000 projects worldwide.

Focus on Core Applications

Plastics & Alternative Fuel Preparation Line: Targeting recyclable plastics and high-calorific-value waste, it achieves material standardization and impurity control, providing high-quality feedstock for subsequent high-value utilization and industrial alternative fuel.

SRF/RDF Preparation Line: Designed for mixed municipal and industrial waste, this line uses shredding, screening, and homogenization, integrated with the SIDSA Smart System to optimize particle size and calorific value stability for use as consistent alternative fuel for cement kilns or incinerators.

Alternative Fuel for Cement Kilns: Offers customized pre-treatment solutions for the cement industry, producing RDF fuel that meets strict kiln feed requirements through precise size reduction and impurity removal, directly supporting the substitution of fossil fuels.

SIDSA looks forward to using IFAT Munich as a platform for in-depth exchanges with industry partners, sharing practical project experience, and working collectively to advance more efficient and sustainable global resource circulation pathways.
